I am new here and liked what I have seen so far so here goes. I have a Lawn Boy Model 21 that I can get to start and it runs for a minute or two and then dies. I have a cork float on it and was wondering if that could be the cause? It has a line on it like it is at an angle in the bowl. Also if this is the problem could that also be the cause of the gas all leaking out of the tank if I do not close the shut off valve? All responses will be appreciated. Thanks

yes, the float needs replacement, its causing too much gas to run by when its running, and your gas leaking out ( out of the muffler ) ? right..... the float is bad.
