Anybody else watching this? I've liked it since it started, this season has been better and more genre since Vince got the lead in James Cameron's Aquaman. Odd to see Cameron on a comedy, this week they went to Comicon, and there's a pretty good Hercules/Xena-inspired subplot. And Jeremy Piven is the funniest agent since Martin Short.

I've not been watching it religiously, but catch it whenever I've got the time and it's on TV. I've liked every episode I've seen thus far, not a clunker. But then, I've only seen about 12 to 14 episodes, I think. I like some of the little subplots they've got going on and think it's kewel how he's got his best friend working as his manager - who's often at odds w/his agent.

Next weeks episode looks pretty interesting, too. I've always liked Piven, but feel he's not really gotten as much screen time as I'd like to see, personally.

The stuff about James Cameron's Aquaman just gets better and better, I loved this weeks episode with long-time military movie adviser Dale Dye teaching Vincent how to use Aquaman's claw gun.

"Great, you shot another whale. That's number 17, whales are Aquaman's allies, you moron! I swear kid, you are more dangerous than the Japanese fishing fleet"

Nice to see Beverly D'Angelo and Malcolm McDowall working again, even if there is a LOT more of Beverly these days.

I started watching this the first season and thought it was just ok - so stopped watching it. I'll have to give it another try - especially if Ms. D'Angelo is in it. I'm looking forward to Rome.

I think the first season was a bit slow because they were trying to make Vincent's sudden rise into the "million dollar Club" of movie actors believable. In the second season, once Vince's indie movie becomes a Sundance hit, the series really hit it's stride and found it's voice, imho. And from things I've read and heard, the shows premise of an entourage based on old friends and hanger-ons is pretty close to the money.

BTW, Beverly looks a lot better now than in her appearence in Law & Order a couple of years ago, while still heavier than her National Lampoon's Vacation glory days, she's slimmer on The Entourage and she's gone back to aggressively marketing what Joe Bob Brigg's would refer to as her "major talents", if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

I thought she looked great, and was pretty funny as Mandy Moore's manager.

I'm going through withdrawal since “Six Feet Under” ended. I’ll have to look at this for a possible fix. Not sure "Rome" is my cuppa tea, but I'm going to try.

This is the new HBO show I'm really excited about:

I thought The Office (the original BBC show, NOT the crappy American remake) was one of the most brilliant TV shows ever! And I mean Honeymooners and the third season of Seinfeld brilliant. Both Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are returning!

The previews of Rome look mixed, it could be real bad or real good. The previews of Deadwood didn't look terrible promising though, and look how that turned out.

Reviews of Rome so far have been in the solid "B" category. I'm a sucker for that era though. Apparently Milch originally proposed a series set in ancient Rome. That was rejected and he took his basic template and set it in Deadwood instead.

So long as there's gratuitous nubile slave action with maybe some gladiator posing for the misus.

Oh, from the previews, I feel confident saying you and the missus will be pleased.

Great finale, I almost got as excited about Aquaman as James Cameron was!
