Niether one is around anymore, and hasn't been for Awhile. Brad Hayes I believe designed the PSE Phase 1 Car, and moved onto ADX after that. Now he is Currently with Maverick. As for Woods, their parts are very very hrd to find, and I would say they haven't been around for at least 5 years. Good Luck finidng parts.

The Woods cars (both 1/10 and 12 scale) were (and in my opinion still are) wonderful cars. Many of the design concepts we today accept as "common" were infact developed and pioneered by Mike Woods Sr., Mike Woods Jr., and the very talented Woods team drivers. Mike Sr. is now retired and living in central Michigan. Mike Jr. is living and working on the east coast. The last person to own the Woods car design and manufacture the cars was Ed Wasserman who lives in the Flint, Mich. area. The last I knew, Ed still had a inventory of parts primarily for the earlier model Woods cars. The X-15 Extreme was the last 1/10 scale chassis design cut and it is harder to find. Because my son was a Woods driver for many years, we have a small stash of parts also. Many of the Woods team drivers, particularly in the midwest, are still racing, and my quess is that some of them also might have parts or leads on parts. If there is something in particular that you need, drop me a note and maybe I can help you out. Some of use still feel that the CS pod Woods car can be still very competitive today and on the right track and in the right hands can still stand proud on the podium in A-main oval racing.

If the old guy can't help on woods parts I might be able to. I still run a woods car and agree with the Oldguy that the car would still be competitive with a good driver.

Mel is being too humble once again. He is a very good driver, and his Woods car is still competitive. For those who may not know or remember, ask him what he did at the Soo in Apriil at a big trophy race.
