Another car I got in the 5 for 5 deal was this Porsche 928 by Yatming. Wheels are from the MB 61 Dart Phoenix. Since that ones going back stock it's not going to miss 'em. I wanted a different color for the 928 but still wanted stock. This is pretty close in a Rimmel 402 Cyber nail polish. This was clear-coated after it dried. interior is two tone beige & black.

Check that off the list.

I liked the 928 when it came out though I'm not a "big" Prosche fan. Worked on too many real ones when I had my shop. What I like about the 924 and 928 series was they got away from that pan motor and those leaking pushrod tubes. I had more people come to me wanting those leaks stopped than I could count. I don't think its possble to stop the leaks for long. I finally started using the radial motor anology. "A pan motor is like a radial in the respect that if the tubes STOP leaking....Your out of oil.

I know the Subarus have pan motors in them. But they are sealed and don't leak nearly as bad. I do have one of them. Unfortunately they are now "all wheel drives." and I really don't need that many more moving parts. So when this one can't be beat back to life anymore, I'll have to find a new favorite car. I really do like that "Subby" it was a well thought out design....'till they put 4WD in all of 'em. See....Screwed again by "the market."
