Hi.
I would like some advice on an alternative to the Tamiya Hummer kit.
Want a 4 wheel drive with a cammo Hummer body. Want it to look like the Tamiya one, scale like not like a stadium truck.
Want one motor one battey 4 wheel drive for ease of use, like the Tamiya.
So is there something else I could use to make this up?

You want somthing just like the tamiya that's not a tamiya? You would need something 190mm wide with the longer shocks... Nothing to choose from there except Tamiya. HPI's Rally chassis would work if narrowed to 190 (it came 200mm) but it's out of production. I suppose if you put long shocks on the right 190mm sedan it might do the trick. But what's wrong with Tamiya?

Thats the type of info I am looking for.
I guess Im used to the graphite, titanium super cars.
The price is right on the Tamiya.
But I rarely see any parts or hop-ups available.
Thanks.
I dont believe they make a bunch of hop up parts for that as im sure you know already. Its a Scale RC model and that means it wasent desighned to be run real rough or for racing. if you want somthing that looks like it and drives like a race truck, the only thing i could suggest is get the body and the wheels from tamiya and put them on some other car. mabey an older Losi Ralley weapon will fit the bill.

Your best bet is to save your money and buy an Emaxx. It will take another couple of batteries... but is worth the time to save the money and the initial cost.
VERY Fast, durable and fun.

You could use just about any 190mm touring car. I would stick with shaft drive as my TC3 rallies deal with the dirt better than my rs4s ever did.

Good suggestions.
The truck would be for my son. We already have plenty of RC's. He likes the H20's but he wants a big Monster truck. Im trying to talk him out of having me buy him one. LOL.
He really wants a 4 wheel drive. Im thinking ahead for Christmas.
I guess we are both spoiled!
