Picked this up tonight.

I have to say, this thing really rocks.
BSG, went from a minimalist approach on the mini-series to a real 'world-music' tone (as I'm sure most have noticed) for the actual series.

The great thing is, the music stands just as good on its own, as it does when accompanied by the visuals.

The Miniseries soundtrack is great, too. I highly recommend it. :)

Did Glenn Larson approve it? 'Cause if he didn't, it's just Ron Moore screwing over the fans and stealing something that ...

The Miniseries soundtrack is great, too. I highly recommend it. :) Concur!!! Even the teenagers I work with like it - not that that's saying much, but they've often requested in our daily playlist, even though only one or two have even seen the show.

Maybe after Galactica tonight, I'll swing by Tower and pick up a copy of the 1st season music.

You know Moore only listened to five minutes of the TOSBSG soundtrack and then deliberately raped the true fans by taking a totally unauthorized and new direction. And playing the original theme in such a mocking manner in the pilot while the vipers did their flyover was WAY OVER THE TOP!!!

Sorry, I was channeling someone else for a second. ;) Yes, I must buy that new soundtrack. Maybe next week.
