Just curious if someone if anyone can give me info on K & N. I am looking to get back into racing this winter after many years off. I see that they race 4 nights a week. Can anyone tell me what classes are run? And on which nights? It looks like a first class operation. Thanks in advance

Recently we've been running 10th scale stock and 10th scale 19 turn. These are both four cell classes. This past winter we've had some folks running a spec class, if your interested in that I would give Chad a call to find out the particulars. Then there is always the S-K's. Other than that come on down and join in the competition. Biggest turn out is Sundays, Fridays has had some racing, but hasn't been consistant and saturdays has been more of a test and tune day. Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with Chad? I tried the number on the website and it is no longer in service. I know it may be early to think about winter racing, but the season will be here soon enough. Anyone?

It is one of the best banked oval tracks there is. Very fast and competitive. The new season is starting soon and things will be picking up. The first big race is the Stock-a-fied, all stock race on October 24

If you tell me what the outer diameter is and the length, I can make it up for you before Friday. I assume the threads inside are 1/4-20 UNC, and that the mounting threads on the bottom are 8-32 UNF. Now, do you just need the bottom half or both, and how many?

Let the battle of the paint scheme's begin. I'm hoping he starts using that new airbrush he has real soon. Hey, no racing this weekend, I should take a drive to his house and and light a fire under him. You going to show Friday to do some laps?

rick, OD is .370, length is 1 inch, the bottom I need to take an 8-32, not sure what the inside thread is. And the set screw is the same as what goes into the pinion gear.I'll take as many as your willing to make, I have 4 cars built right now. Thanks

I hope we get some support for some out of towners, no reason to see at least 50 people @Stock I Fied....K&N Locals support many tracks from Maine to Pa.
it would be real nice to see the same support in return.

I'm about to take my first step into oval racing and am looking for some set-up info. I'll be racing a SK Mod in a spec class. It is built off a fibreglass chassis with a rigid rear pod (mounted directly to chassis/ no Tplate or suspension) and a dynamic strut front suspension. Spec tires are green and blue (any combo is allowed). 6 cell and stock motor. The track is a small flat oval, ozite, and smooth (R/C Madness in Enfield CT).

What I'm trying to find out is how I should set up the front end (springs/camber/caster/toe) and what tires all around (compound/diameter/stager). I currently have a full Wolf spring and kingpin set to work with for the front if it matters.

Any info will be a help.

I'm expecting to see the same thing when I travel to other tracks to support their racing, should see cars in the parking lot with license plates from New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and of course Massachusetts and Connecticut. Did I miss anyone, oh yeah, can't forget our friends from the great white north, how about a plate from Canada? See you boys this weekend.
