Hello-

This will eventually end up as a GTP Corvette.
I’m cheating and posting this pic of the unfinished project to be able to get away with the other pics!
The Vette came as batt’ powered slot with a weird scoop thing over the rear glass area and a opaque domed light at the windscreen base. I removed them, along with the org. chassis and reworked the innards to accommodate a Tyco 440 narrow chassis.
I think it looks pretty good, and I haven’t seen another slot done-up like this. At least not a Corvette, anyway.

The other pics are of the Divco I bought, and an El Camino I showed Roadrner a while back.
Yes, I went and bougtht that too. I spent $950.00 for the pair.

The Div’ will get a 12in. chop, Mustang front rack, tilt wheel, narrowed 9inch, and full interior. Hopefully I can procure a 427 for the motivation. It runs and drives right now and came with a 300cu. Ford truck engine, so it’s only fitting to replace it with another Ford mill.

You won’t see this again until some major mods’ have been done.

The Camino I picked up for another Mate (RR mentioned the wife’s fury it he brought it home, but he had first choice if he had wanted it).

Obviously, I made it back in one piece, but it was a tough journey.

Gotta love the nose on that Divco....it's....well...it's cute! Chop it Chop it Chop it Chop it! Anything cute can be made cool with a good chop!
