I have a t-maxx with a 2.5 engine. I didnt run it for 6 months but now that i have time again for it im haveing problems.

When I hit the throtle it would shut off, but i tuned the high idle screw and that fixed that.

My Engine is over heating alot but i think i just need to tune it some more.

Problem # 1
My big problem is it goes with out me useing the throtle. and the carborater isnt open!

Problem # 2
My T-Maxx is also not getting alot of power, and its modded and even a raceing piston.
Some one help me please

Check your clutch, sounds like a weak clutch spring.
also, check your low speed needle. Fuel has a lot to do with heat as well.
