:wave: Hi to all;
Saw "Hot Rods to Hell" last night. Cool flick.Quite a far cry from the "Fast & Furious" though ! Get a load of those two guys & girl in the red flamed '59 'vette acting tough in front of Dana Andrews & his family ! If Vin Diesel was there he would have had those turkeys for lunch ! LOL ! :tongue:
Any how I was thinking perhaps JL could come out with a "Hot Rods to Hell" set like they did with the "F&F" Xtractions.They already have the '59 'vette for the TO's or could use the '56 'vette for the Xtractions. The T-buckets & '56 chevy would be relatively easy.
If not perhaps I could mold some bodies & make my own HRtH set. I already have the 'vettes to prototype & the T-Buckets can be molded from diecasts or even of old Aurora & Tyco S Hot Rod bodies.The Police car could be molded from the MM plymouth GTX body. As for that puke green '61 Plymouth Fury that Dana Andrews & his family drove,that's a tall order unless there is a diecast or plastic toy I could prototype from. Perhaps there is a similar Mopar I could use.BTW the front of that '61 plymouth Was UGG-A-LEE !! Not Virgil Exners best work tho' I blame the people that let it thru more than him!
Its a big project ! should I go for it ? Any thoughts?
