This Sunday July 24th is the R/C race at Bergman Park's World Series of Cars in Jamestown, Ny. We're talking blacktop oval, about the size of 1/2 basketball court with a nasty outside wall made of bales of hay that you don't even want to touch with a fender or a tire. The neat thing about it is that it's right in the middle of a big car show going on at the same time. You can race a while, then walk around and look at all the Hot Rods and sports cars. Another neat thing is they have a concourse class also- after all it is a car SHOW, so if you have a newly painted body you're saving or a real work of art, BRING IT!!

It's being run by Greg Moller from Action Hobbies shop up there in Jamestown so if you have any ?? get ahold of him at 1.800.737.1180 or cftwob@madbbs.com.

Greg says there will be classes for cars & trucks, both electric & gas. gates open at 8:00, practice from 10:00 - 12:00 with racing getting started at noon and trophies for the winners of all classes & best of show. So bust out your foams or old smooth rubber tires and come give it a try. As long as the weather holds out this race is a definate good time, we've been going to it for years.

Be there !!!

This race is a great time every year, unfortunitly, it is on my aniversary every year from now on, lol. Would love to make it but allready have plans with the wife. I would like to add that a transponder system is used, and I am pretty sure you would be able to use personal transponders, I know they do at the track over the winter. Great group of guys, and they generally get a pretty big turnout, at least 30-40. Would love to see this even grow into something huge, hope lots of people can make it.
