View Full Version : Ertl 1/1700 Mustang My first 1/18th

I was at TRU today and as I was walking out spotted this. Needless to say it walked with me. This is my first 1/18th but I really like this car. Hope someone can help. It says that it is a TRU exclusive 1/1700. Are these numbered anywhere? I did not want to take it out of the box.

I bought one too ! If only there was a chase car there , it would be a miracle .... Left the Vegas & Camaros behind . Never saw the Cougars either .

See any of those Mopar no car r8 cars ?

as to your question .... yes this cars are numbered in the bottom ... but ..... as you also said ... i didnt want to open mine so i cant assure you this completely :D some cars are just best unopened .... some others do ... this one .... MMMMMM ..... lets se ........ NOOOOOOO

Plenty of the Vegas and Camaros at the local TRU here. But if I came across that beauty, it would be bought up quick! Gorgeous car! And oh yeah, out of the box with that one.

I saw 4 of these tonight.Anyone know what the chase versions look like? They even had the el camino,belvedere,dakota r/t,and another ford.

...definitely take it out of the box...get one of those single car display cases that have the checkerboard floor or a case that displays more than one ...because you will probably buy more of the 1:18 scale cars..! ...this one certainly is a nice one to start with....I'm looking forward to the HWY61 metallic blue Boss...the yellow and orange versions are out...and a Grabber blue...

...just noted from Diecast Alley August newsletter.. that the AUTOart 2005 Mustang GT in Windveil blue is now available...it sure is a beauty..! added it to my wish list.. only wish it had the torque thrust wheels though..
