I thought I would post a photo of the 1969 Roadrunner convertible that was at the same show. I like this car very much as it is cool. The owner of this car sure knew how special and rare the Hurst SC/Ramblers are. We talked and found out that it had taken both of us over twenty years to get are dream cars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice AMC! My uncle said he found a weird AMC the other day,a Rogue.I had never heard of one,I guess it was lesser but similar to the S/C Rambler? He said it was pretty cool,he thought about buying it and was wondering what motor it might have. Not sure what year it was, maybe 66-67? How rare are they if you know?

If he can get the Rogue get it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Hurst SC/Ramblers are made from the Rogue body. The 67,68,69 are the same body. A few came with the 343 V-8 but by far most were just 6 bangers. Let me know as a friend of mine would be interested in the car.
There were only like 20,000 Rogues built in for years and 1,512 of them were Hurst SC/Ramblers. That is what makes the SC/Ramblers so special, you don't see the cars they were built from !!!!!! This makes getting parts a real bitch but it sure makes the heads turn at any car show.
thanks,
Matt

I started my collection of Johnny Lighting cars with some of the (Your car is the star )cars.
There is also a new web site about my SC that was built by the Western Pa AACA region. www.aaca.org/westernpa/scrambler/ you will find some photos of some people that are into Johnny Lighting diecast with and in my car. I took photos of them and mailed them back to them. Please go to (Matt's links) at bottom of main page and check out the online car show page. Lots of cool cars here and I hope you vote for my SC .
thanks,
Matt

COOL, that SC belongs to Dave a friend of mine from Baltimore. He did lots of work to that one as it had been in bad shape. He did it by himself and did a real nice job. His SC is super fast also.
Dave is a super nice guy so if you get the chance to talk to him please do.
Matt
