Im having trouble changing the settings on my router to get a new IP address. My wireless router has been down for two days since this bad weather started down here. I cat figure it out, can anyone here help me out? Thanks in advance

1st question did yoou power everthing off? after that power cable modem/DSL 1st then poower on the router wait about 60 sec. and then power the system on. You may also get the some IP address unless you have a other system power on either before or after the 1st system.

I have 7 systems connected to wirless router right now. Lets the IP on thios system ends in 007 and the other system 006. IF i turn both systems off and power this one before the other one this IP would end in 006.

If that sont work try to find a reset hole on the router should be a small hole that you need to hold down for like 20 sec. or so. After restting you should see all the lights flash or do somthing depending the make.model.

If that sont worj then you may need to call tech support from the maker.
