Someone please tell me how to make attachments on my Mac-generated e-mails that everyone with a PC can reliably open and view?
I just sent some important photos to a large list of family members and although a few are seeing them ok on PC's, many say they can't. This has happened before with Word documents: some can read and some can't.
As far as I can tell, the only two variables are the format of the attached picture and the encoding scheme used for the attachment by the e-mail program (Outlook Express).
I am saving them in my Nikon photo editor as jpeg format and when I send the emails, I am using UUencode as the encoding scheme.
Should I be using a different encoding scheme that's more universal? I have tried some others in the past with even less luck.
Thanks!
