This is the last of my Tow Alongs, although they don't come from the same years. The car is a 1954 Cadillac model 62 (repaint and then trashed in the move). The camper is one of my favorites. It's from the 70s, and it's a 60s/70s model Apache Model Pop Up camper. As a kid I spent a lot of time seeing the USA in one of these. You just flip the switch on the bottom and boing...... it opens up. This one has some damage (the hook is broke, and sometimes when it opens the top flys off). Enjoy and thanks for looking

OK, Now I'm hooked. I've got to find one of those campers. If fact, I'm going to start looking for all the TT tow alongs I can find.

Thanks Gerald

As I stated in Gerald's july 11th thread, tow alongs are why I liked collecting the Lesney (matchbox) castings. When I was a kid before the HW and Topper days, Lesney was about the only die cast toys available around my home town. I collected all of the military and construction pieces that Lesney made and in both series there was a large amount of tow alongs. Here is a borrowed eBay pic of one of my favorites from around 1962.
