You might want to try HPI Nitro RS4, that would be a goot beginner gas car and they make a Saleen Mustang body for it just like what you want.

But you can get the body seperate and put any 200mm chassis under it. I think HPI even makes it in a 190mm too for electrics.

many of the ready to run cars have painted bodies. I dont know of one that sells a painted mustang though.

ok theres a guy in my unit he has two rc...he cut out the windsheild and windows to his body and said it makes the car run faster..but he left the back window in tact and cut himself a sunroof....now i know in real car physics if u roll ur windows up its better cuz the aerodyanamics are on par...i was wondering since i had no one else to talk to about these things cept u guys..wat he did was dum was it not or did it make sense since the engine is basically in the middle and needs ventalation

also i found that rs whatever u said to buy it cost 300 dollas.....i say daaaamn

I think what hes trying to say is....he can run his nitro motor leaner becuase it has more cooling, wich gives it more power, and in turn makes it faster...however...

That would only really be true at lower speeds. once you start hitting the 50mph range, it really doesnt help much. an example would be to cup your hand and stick it out the car window while going 50mph. In essence, thats what the body is doing. Its traping the air and actually slowing you down. Cutting out the front window completly also limits the down force on the front of the car. At any rate, the air travels over a slanted windshield much easier than a big air cup.

If 300 bucks seems like a lot, consider other hobbies that people do on a reg basis. Games for example...50 bucks a pop. Do you have more than 6 video games? It helps keep things in pespective. Is it an exspensive hobby...yeah...but what hobby isnt exspensive really...

for nitro, you need to put a 2inch hole in the front window in front of the engine & a 2inch hole in the rear window in back of the engine. It's for cooling like he said. makes the engine perform more efficient. & keeps the temps down. If you go nitro make sure you have a temp gun or gauge. You don't want temps getting over 250 or the engine will not last too long. Try to find a site that has tips on tuning an rc engine. Once you get pass tuning, everything else is simple.
