RCThunder 07-05-2005, 09:58 AM Thanks Danny.. I do have a few. I can do paypal... rcthunder@aol.com latemodel100 07-05-2005, 01:15 PM So what is the difference? Cause for a few dollars more you can get the regular MH Motor? Just curious cause I like the Birds motors. erock1331 07-05-2005, 01:29 PM Same as a Monster, excpet the Birds handouts are Epoxy balanced arms. This makes tech easier cause if you see one drilled then you know it had been rebalanced or drilled out to make the arm lighter. ROAR & Norrca do not allow Epoxy arms so watch your club rules. The Birds motors are approved under ARCOR rules. burbs 07-05-2005, 02:24 PM eric.. this motor was the handout for the norrca nats in tenn a few months ago... norrca has not re done there rules in forever, so i guessing there legal now... erock1331 07-05-2005, 02:48 PM eric.. this motor was the handout for the norrca nats in tenn a few months ago... norrca has not re done there rules in forever, so i guessing there legal now... Norrca leaves it up to the track to decide whether you bring your own motors or have a handout. It was my understanding that Rush and Son's wanted handouts, so they got those. But say the race would have been a Bring your own motor, according to the current rules you would not be allowed to run the Birds Handout being it's epoxy balanced. If they changed the rule I haven't read it anywhere. But you might be right, I just haven't seen the rule change. TnOvalRacer 07-06-2005, 12:21 AM Thanks Danny.. I do have a few. I can do paypal... rcthunder@aol.com Are the magnets on these motors zapped ? What kind of brush & spring do they come with? Thanx for the info. apk power 07-06-2005, 01:58 AM Don't know about beenin zapped or not but I do know that no spring or brushes come on it cneyedog 07-09-2005, 12:02 PM the magnets are not "zapped" they are handout motors ...... not dyno tuned. Fl Flash 07-09-2005, 06:18 PM They are excellent motors though especially for the price! My best "track" results have been with green springs + & - and Reedy 767 brushes or green Putnums. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
