Its driving me crazy! The yard takes about 45 minutes to mow. The engine starts easily and runs for about 15 minutes and then just stops dead. No sputtering no labouring, it just stops as if it was shut off.
I cleaned the carburetor. There was quite a bit of gunk in the little upside down bell shaped thing but otherwise it was clean. If I try starting it right after it stops there is no indication of the engine firing. It is very easy to flood the engine at that time. I leave it sit for about a half an hour and it starts again as if nothing happened. Its almost as if the temperature of the engine affects the ignition but that is pure speculation. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. The engine is model number 191707.

the coils failing, to make sure have it checked out. but you'll need a new coil.

oh and upside down bell shape is the carb's fuel bowl.
