Hyperdrive makes a nitro pan car, and some places like Bakersfeild has a touring nitro oval class, but I guess it depends on where you are. Check out rcoval.com for more nitro oval info.

In the north you dont see many, but down South, North Carolina and Virginia the Nitro Pan cars are growing in number. I think they run the .09's in them.
I saw them run at Chatham at the ARCOR open.

All of the above post are correct. Bandit RC Products makes the "Gunslinger" for .09 and .12. Hyperdrive and KSG also make a very nice car. The Hyperdrive will take a .09 or a .12. I am not sure if the KSG will except a .12 but the .09 class is the one that is making all the noise right now.

We run the A.P. .09 engine only with no mods what-so-ever to it and 20% Nitro. You can find them from 42.00 to 54.00 depending on where you shop. KSG makes a very nice head for that engine that is legal in all of the racing organizations that cover that class.

ARCOR has rules in place for the .09 class and reading them will answer a lot of your questions. GASCAR also is organized for pan car Nitro. The Carolina .09 Nitro Challenge series is in full swing as well and Kevin Andrews is the person to talk to about that.

Email me and I will share some information links with you. kt4jt@firstsaga.com
If you know me, you already know what one of them will be. LOL

Those are really cool, what do they cost? How much is assembled? What is the motor that everyone seems to be running?

They are pretty cool, and pretty fast too! Just under the speeds of a good 19t in the .09 class.

The only motor that is allowed is the AP .09 for the .09 class and the OS .12 is the choice for the "real" fast guys in the .12 class. About like open mod.

The Bandit is a conversion, requiring your front end, diff and shocks. The KSG is a complete rolling chassis kit.

As for prices, check with your hobby shop for your best deal. They can get you all of the other stuff you need to go with it as well.
