You will find no better chicken fingers anywhere than at Newreds diner. Oh yeah there's a pretty good track on site too. Chicken grease works darn good for a foam tire traction additive too. Triple threat? I think so.

Ok guys. There has to be hundreds if not thousands of older dirt oval cars just gathering dust bunnies in your closets, garages and attics. There is now a really fun place to race dirt oval again in Florida. Not to take anything away from any of the other tracks that are operating in the state but NewReds has one thing over all the other tracks that I'm aware of, A ROOF! Thats right, No more rain outs, Bad track conditions due to weather or flooded pit areas(well that could still happen anywhere in Fl) so basically rain or shine racing goes on.

Got a car but aren't sure if it will compete? Get several of your old buddy's to drag their cars out too and a class will be made just for y'all. Old sprint car conversions? Bring'em on, Wedges? Bring it, Trucks? Oh yeah I know there are bunches of you good ole boys who used to have a blast running oval trucks. Truck oval is a regular class at Newreds. You got to have foam or smooth rubber tires on anything that runs on the track but believe me you, There is plenty of traction with either. Don't get me wrong, If your car or truck isnt setup it will still be a struggle to go fast or hookup but once the setup is found the track is a blast.

The easiest and cheapest class by far to run at real fast speeds believe it or not is touring cars. ? say what? Yep good old touring cars. They're run with Latemodel bodies that are made just for them, foam tires and 19t motors. For the time being they are being run without side dams(grrr!) and get around the track faster than you think for a car thats designed for very smooth asphalt would. You have to see it to believe it.

Nitro dirt oval? Indoors? Yep! If enough entries for a given class show up they'll run gas cars and trucks. So far I have seen the Nitro latemodels(again 4wd touring nitro cars with latemodel bodies), Sprint cars and truck based EDM's.

If it's radio controlled and oval ready they'll run it.

Donnie 99, I had a chance to go to Newreds and had a blast running the latemodel class. I ran a tc4. Hope to get back down there and rub fenders with David again!

We have started the late model class in Mobile AL at the Hobbytown dirt oval and it is growing.
