Hello all,
I have a sears 10 hp Tecumseh driving lawn mower.
The engine is spiting oil out the top of the oil fill tube.
Im sure there is no other leaks else whereas for I have degreased the engine clean then started it up and watched where it was coming from.
Strange part is it only seems to happen when the motor is shutting down or when motor is under a heavy load (like mowing up a hill, or pulling weight, etc ).
I feel it might be the PVC valve, but not to sure about that one as for I thought that can cause the oil to leak into air filter not out the top of the oil fill tube.
And yes the oil level is correct, not over filled.
Any Ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

the oil fill tube.....should have a gasket, or rubber o ring on the cap to prevent blow by. or if its plastic it may be cracked....

Oil pulses out and up that tube, so if the oring at the tube/chassi spot is bad or not seated due to maintenance, or the oil stick cap's gasket is bad, the oil will come out.
