Did JL make the X-Traction Chargers and Daytonas without the blowers? If so where can they be purchased?

Yes, in the Mopar set of XT's, the red Daytona and the red Charger come without the blower. Try Jag Hobbies (http://www.jaghobbies.com/), Slotcar Johnny, or Bud's HO Cars.
