Tuesday afternoon Zach and myself were informed that Fountain Raceway as we know it would be closed. We were let go from our positions. The reasons for this are unclear.....there was no argument between any of us. I just want to tell all of you this to clear up any rumours that may start or have already started.

It is my understanding that Tom McCoy will be taking the facility over starting on Thursday. I wish the new regime the best of luck in their upcoming endeavour.

At this time I would(I think I am speaking for Zach as well) like to thank each and every one of you for your support, patronage and friendship. I had a lot of fun the last 3 years....met a lot of new people and got to watch some of you grow in the hobby we all love. I am proud of the accomplishments we have achieved in our time at the track. Even the hard times will be some fond memories. You guys are what made the place. I think you all know that. I know I was a little edgy at times.....you have no idea how stressful running a place like that can be. I am not looking for any pats on the back I just wanted to tell you all how I feel.

I will enjoy returning to racing in our area as a racer instead of a track manager. Again I wish Tom and crew the very best of luck in the future.
