Same here Zombie, Catherine Bachs legs are honey dipped for sure!

Bach's got the legs, but Jessica reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake with lots of extra whipped cream - my favorite desert. And I'm actually hearing that she's pretty good in the part.

And I'm actually hearing that she's pretty good in the part.I only watched the TV show occasionally. From what I remember, the Daisy Duke character was usually pretty intelligent but would play dumb when the situation called for it. From what I saw in the trailer, Jessica Simpson has the "dumb" part down; the question is, can she play "intelligent"? ;)

BTW, if you're a Jessica Simpson fan, you have to see the video for her "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" remake.

Jessica looks like she might be fun over a long weekend. I wouldn't let her make me a sandwich tho. To give her credit that whole "chicken of the sea" thing is very confusing.

'Course there's nothing wrong with Catherine, in fact in the late seventies a Catherine-Barbara Bach combo would have been near the top of my fantasy list. Talk about great sandwiches!

How about someone release Catherine Bach and Jessica Simpson "Daisy" kits, made to lean on a General Lee kit? :D

I burned the free ticket on Dukes Season 3

There is no Dukes of Hazzard movie, just look at the trailer, they're not even playing the characters correctly, ESPECIALLY Roscoe and Boss.

You might want to check out one of Liz Phair's album covers. And if the legs don't convince you Liz is one of the ultimate hotties, listen to her lyrics on either Bl-w J-b Queen or HWC.

I was driving to work the first time I heard HWC. I almost drove off the road when I realized what she was saying. Yup, she's a hottie.

Never heard of her ... but at your suggestion I looked her up.

She's not unattractive looking ... but as far as her lyrics go ... the moment she opened her mouth ended any sort of attraction I may have had. Lynda's and Catherine's legs are still much better ... and they have a lot more class too (IMHO).

To each his own ... Just call me old-fashioned and leave it at that.

I'm sure they look pretty bad without the music, part of her appeal is how deceptively catchy her songs are, till you realize exactly what she's saying. You might be pleasantly surprised if you heard them.

I like a woman who knows how to talk dirty - but there's an art to it. Liz writes and sings with the same kind of naked emotional intimacy that Joni Mitchell or Lucinda Williams does - her work is just more rawly sexual in nature. It's all in the delivery.

[P]art of her appeal is how deceptively catchy her songs are, till you realize exactly what she's saying.

Yeah, I was not expecting her to explain what HWC stood for on the song. It came out of nowhere and that's why I nearly drove off the road.

The funny thing is that there's a squeaky-clean adult contemporary radio station here that plays her song, Why Can't I. I'm pretty sure the music programmer hasn't paid attention to the lyrics, especially the line, "We haven't ______ yet but my head's already spinning".

It's all in the delivery

Amen. Like all things. :)

To the right lucky bastich. She was married to a film editor for awhile. I used to fantasize that I was that guy. I hate to confess this but the last thing I listened to by Liz was "whitechocolatespaceegg". How does the newer stuff compare to that and especially to "Exile in Guyville"?

I really liked Extraordinary before it became the most overused TV & movie music for "a woman gets empowered and/or does kooky things" montages since Man, I feel like a Woman!

I'm gettin' a Liz jones right now. Think I'll go out and buy the newest one tomorrow. No man can love just one woman. Me and Lucinda Williams have been going at it hot and heavy for a couple of years now. Lucinda probably needs a break .... and I've been missing Liz.

Don't get me started on that jezebel Lucinda Williams, she caused a serious rift in my relationship with Nora Jones.

Liz needs to do a concert DVD. Preferably someplace real warm.......or real cold, either has it's appeal.

I liked her last CD too, but it's a little less eclectic and quirky than the older stuff, nothing like say, Speed Racer. We all grow up.

Jessica looks like she might be fun over a long weekend . . . Maybe, but after a couple of days, wouldn't you want to be with someone you could actually have a CONVERSATION with? If you put Jessica Simpson's and Paris Hilton's brains together, you still wouldn't have one good one!Only one set of legs on TV has ever been better than Catherine Bach's... and that's Lynda Carter's!! ;)What about Angie Dickinson in Police Woman? Or Goldie Hawn? Even in her skinny Laugh-In days, she had great legs!

And what's the point of resurrecting a six-month-old thread, anyway?

Again, I think I could make it thru a long weekend, but would definately be itching for the door by Monday.

Hilton doesn't do much for me, I had my fill of jaded too-thin spoiled skanks in South Florida in the eighties.

Jessica, on the other hand, well, let's just say there's few things more exciting than a good girl gone bad. Even a stupid one.
