As a service to all you modelers and sci-fi fans out there who chat about how good was every sci-fi or super-hero movie that has hit the theater lately, I've made this thread for you. At times I will ask your opinion on who would be perfect for the role of a comic book or popular sci-fi character. Remember now this doesn't actually mean that a certain movie will be coming out, just if they were making the film and you were the casting director, who would be in the film. So here goes!

Casting? It depends. In the comics the women were babes, in the TV show they're skinny weirdos. None of them seem very much like teenagers. When do they go to school? Does Robin ever take off his mask? I saw him get out of the shower wearing it!

I have some TT comics from the late 60s where the artist drew Wonder Girl as a dead ringer for Raquel Welch. :)

Is Eliza Dushku too old to play WG? Yeah, probably

Let me first say, if they ever do decide to do this movie, I would hope they do 'The Judas Contract'. This story arc was done in the early '80s by Marv Wolfman (IIRC). This was where we see Robin become Nightwing, the introduction of Jericho, Terra's betrayal, and its effect of beast boy. If you can find the back issues or trade paperback, I'd highly recommend it...
At the time, the 'Teen Titans' were not teens at all (with the exception of 16 year old Tara Markov, and an 18-19 year old Beast Boy. That said, I think there's a little wiggle room with the actors ages, so here goes:

Robin / Nightwing: Barry Watson (7th Heaven, Boogeyman)
Cyborg: Derek Luke (Biker Boyz, Spartan)
Raven: Eva Green (The Dreamers, Kingdom of Heaven)

Starfire: Pam Anderson. She's got the body, and even looks a little alien due to all the plastic surgery. Give her green contacts and paint her gold... instant Starfire

I just watched "Mean Girls" last week (I'm behind the times, 'k) and my wife showed me a picture of what she looks like now. WTF?? Here was a babe at the doorstep of legality and she turned into yet another blonde waif. I don't want to plagiarize anyone, so I'll just quote:

I had to make my wife read this one! I laughed so hard I....er...nevermind.

ANd she's a really nasty person, too. There WAS a film being shot next door to the Pizza Hut delivery unit, a mile down the road from my restaurant. She was seen throwing temper tantrums, cussing out a couple of delivery drivers, and threatening to punch the unit manager in the chops. And that was all before breakfast! And I won't even go into all the "F-bombs" she dropped!

The director and producers got their fill, and pulled the plug. But, at least another film will be shot in the studio (a converted bankrupt grocery store).
