I have a super sport 5800 and I had a bearing go out in the motor the other day. Put a new bearing in motor and ever since then it has not been running right. Sometimes when you hit the throttle the truck dosen't move forward. Sometimes if you hit rev. first then go forward it works fine. Sometimes if you give the truck a little push forward then it goes fine. It only seems to have a problem when the truck stops for a few secs. It dosen't always do it. SO, i figured that when the bearing went in the motor that it messed up the motor some. SO I got a new ss5800 motor but still have the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried re setting up the esc but still have the problem. any suggestions? I looked through the manual today and took the the motor and esc out of the truck so that i know it is not the driveline causing binding at all and I am still getting "rotor lock" acording to the esc when is flashes.

If the LEDs are indicating a locked rotor, and you've tried a different motor, I'd suggest checking the sensor wires and connector. It sounds like it's losing one of the sensors. Another possibility is the spacers on each end of the rotor. If the rotor moves too far away from the sensors it won't run right.

well i don't think it is the spacers on the rotor cause the motor is brand new out of the box. Plus it came with a new sensor wire harness. So i just pluged it in like it is soppoused to be. Will have to call novak tommorow i guess.
