The new "Turbo Blaster" set(Item 9444) has arrived. The #48 Lowes Monte Carlo has been updated. The blue stripe on the roof has been widend. The blue section on the nose is wider, and there is now a Chevy emblem on the nose. The blue section on the side does not reach as far forward as on the previous cars. The side sponsor dcals are different. The rear spoiler is now gray instead of blue. The pin striping between the main body colors is narrower, too. The other car in the set is the new #44 Kellogg's Monte Carlo. It is a "cost reduced" car without all of the sponsor decals that come on the twin pack car.
We also recieved a new twin pack, item 9868. It has two new decos, a updated paint scheme #17 DeWalt Taurus, and a #10 Valvoline Monte Carlo. The #17 has less black paint and a larger number on the roof. The #10 in now on the "new" Monte Carlo body(thankfully the hideous Pontiac Grand Prix body seems to be a think of the past). The black paint on the rear of the car has been changed to blue. The sponsor/number/detail decals/decos are different, too.
