Rear aluminum hubs, fronts if you run into things a lot. Metal gear steering servo. Thats about all that I can think of right now. I kind of like mine. Lot's of power and runs well. I've had problems with the differential on mine. Just put a rebuild kit in it the other day and they changed a few items from what came with mine stock and it seems like it's going to stay tight better. I also used a Team Losi thrust bearing assembly (other than the washers, i used the new ones that came in the rebuild kit). If you strip a spur buy one of the ones made for the RC10GT by Kimbrough, works perfect and a better material. And finally, you might want to put some thread locker on the slipper nut as I had problems with mine tightening all the way down when I was running it (another reason the diff had problems). Have fun!

Steel gears in the diff? Are you sure this is an Evader because to my knowledge there isn't a conversion for a planetary type diff. Now if you are talking the diff gear itself, you can still have problems if it loosens up on you and grooves the washers.

It has WAY more power than needed at our track. :) I've heard bad things about pistons and sleeves (wearing out) after about 4 quarts of fuel but so far mine is going good. BTW I have now switched to the 3rd brand of fuel and it still runs fine. I've now run Maxys, Trinity, and Fantom all in 20% nitro.

If you DO switch over to the aluminum rear hubs like I mentioned above, watch for bent axles. I fixed the problem of broken rear hubs but now I've bent two axles right where they step the axle down from metric to 3/16.

and what fuel you like for it the best?

Have only run about 4 tanks of the Fantom so far but from what I can see they all perform the same. I did have to adjust the idle a little bit with the Fantom but it ran fine through 4 tanks after that. Might need to tweak on the low end just a little as that might have been the need to switch the idle speed.

well i need to get a spur gear now .. and my hobbie shop has 1 for a gt 60 tooth so it should be better then the 1 that came with it.. and did you have any problems when it is hot outside to start it? also my line to my fuel filter was loose fixed that now.. and the thing that hooks to the spring on the motor was loose ... i wish i has a spur gear now so i would try it .... sharlow crew

Yes it should be better as long as it is a Kimbrough or a Associated packaged GT part (same gear). When you put the new one on make sure you check the gear mesh. Mine came from the factory with mesh that was a little to loose for my liking and I stripped a spur first thing. Put the Kimbrough gear on and tightened up the mesh a little and haven't had a problem since.

No problems starting when it's hot outside either. You might want to check your needle settings and idle adjustment.

I started out with what it came with from the factory and adjusted from there so I really couldn't tell you what the needles are set at and I don't wanna risk messing things up by fiddling with them. :) I'd try keeping the temp below 250 but while you're tuning always make sure you have a nice stream of smoke out the exhaust too.

yea tomorrow i will find out.. at this last race i could not get it started .. but that thing that hooks up to the return spring was really loose so it was geting air .. so that why it was hard to start.. and my fuel line was loose....
