I've never seen a Batmobile White Thunder in all of the auctions I've seen on Ebay....so I seriously have my doubts on this one......

Not only did I inform top 2 bidders it is a fake, but asked seller if he purchased it , he should get his money back and if he built it, he is pathetic for taking advantage of people for the almighty buck. I even left him my email addy.

Nope, I used to have a 97 jeep TJ 4.0. Sold it just before leaving on deployment then latter I got a 2000 jeep TJ 4.0 and sold it (long story), but at the same time I got my 2000 TJ my wife got a 99 Cherokee 4x4 4.0, and we sill have it. That one's a keeper. It's going to be the family trail rig one day. One day though I will buy an older Jeep TJ or YJ and build it up for trail use.

The jewel box isn't a "white thunder" box either. Looks like all he did was put white boots under a normal batmobile.

you can make a white batmobile pretty easily by stripping a silver Batmobile. looks pretty neat I did one myself.
Once I tried stripping a black one and ended up with what looked like a "pink lightning", LOL...........I did sell it on fleabay, but I did describe what I did to get it that color.

Hey did you know the 4.0 and 4.2 inline sixes are AMC motors. Chrysler changed them a little but they were still the AMC design. I'm not sure how long they used those, but I know they were still in use in 99'. The fuel injection was a huge improvement. I had a guy tell me that the 4.0 has a larger bore than a 4.2 but shorter stroke. So imagine a 4.0 witha 4.2 crankshaft. Ok I'll quite now with the AMC talk. I like the one with the snorkel, sippy hole anyone?

I didn't know that. Cool to know thanks. The 4.0's are still used today. Great engines, just suck on gas. I think you can put a 4.2 crank in a 4.0. If I remember there was a guy around here that was going to do something like that. I used to have a web link to something like that but it's long one when my computer crashed 6 months ago. :wave:
