i know nothing about creating casts and molds but i want to get into doing it. i'm interested in doing ho scale cars. i see others here that do some amazing work doing this. can anyone give a link or briefly state how this is done in somekind of detail? what type of materials needed? is it hard or easy, exspensive or inexspensive and time consuming to detail. i'm actually not bad at detail and have a good steady hand (kinda). can anyone help a newbie out?

If you're going to give it a go, get the Micro Mark set and have a ball. When I used to do some casting for myself, that's what I started with and wasn't disappointed. Just don't forget to have patience, a clean mold (because everything shows) and be ready for all of your friends that would like to have one. If you can handle all of that, then by all means continue and make your fortune. Hey, It can happen. ;) rr
