Oh yea, "Spring Cove International Speedway", is one big wide fast high banked concrete tri oval Superspeedway with alot of history and now has a road course track in the paved infield, so if you are into fast pan oval electric or gas cars or into the touring cars, this is the place to be, racers come on out and check it out and you'll be hooked on this place. By the way the "International" track title was established back in the 90's when a racer from "across the pond" came to a big National event, if i'm not mistaken.

This is the OLDEST Paved Oval Track in the World, and also one of the most liked tracks. We are gonna have some serious racing at this venue!

I got 2 more sponsors added to this race. That makes 4 total so far.

This track is deserving of a major race, hope to see more sponsors interested, maybe when we get it remodeled and cleaned up and post pics it will sell them on getting involved.

I will email the GASCAR regulars about this race. I will also mention it to the Lagoon Park Racers on the 25th of this month. As you all probably know, LPR runs nitro cars only. SpringCove is a great nitro track! :)

Great news, thanks to all the sponsors, hope to see more coming on board. We are really working hard to revive this track and get everything in order. It is very motivating to see the interest being generated for the "2005 Great American R/C Challenge", we are a determined bunch of people working together to achieve our goals and we really appreciate everyones support.

While this is on my mind....We will run 3 heats on Sat (27th) and 1 heat and the MAINS on Sun (28th). We will driver vote on 2 options for re-shuffle. Option 1 is after the 2nd round and Option 2 is after the 3rd round.

Just something for everyone to think about until I get the flyers made up. I was still waiting on a major sponsor for this race before I did the flyers, but times'a wastin'

Looks as though there will be a pretty good crowd of touring car racers coming to make this event. That will be exciting to me, as I have never actually watched a touring car race yet....LOL!

Yes we will do pre-entry. Also, those that pre-enter get the FREE shirt :) I don't want to have a bunch of shirts left, so that seems to be the easiest way to handle that. Plus there is no way I can get near an accurate count considering it involves Gas cars and Touring cars, along with us Oval'ers.....lol

I'm an oval racer myself and love the wide open high banks of Spring Cove Speedway, but for the guys into touring cars and road course racing, they are going to love the twisting winding challenge of the Spring Cove road course circuit, it will be fun to watch those guys race. The 2005 Great American R/C Challenge is going to be alot of fun.
