If you say it is spraying out the exhaust? It is getting way to much fuel lean it out by turning you needle screw down it lean it. I would jut be careful if you dont know what you are doing you could mess it up to where you might not know how to fix it but some one else will.

Thats good. Alot of people dont realize what a 1/4 turn does to those motors so they end up screwing them up. Glad to hear you fixed it.

*Also* - take out your flex shaft and use lithium grease to lubricate it for an entire days' worth of running; dip your fingers into the grease and work it into your shaft (flex cable for the boat I'm referring to) up and down. Prather makes a blue colored brand. Ensure you tightened everything back up, your batteries RX is completely charged, and use one or 2 medium sized 'OB' mini-tampons inside the radio/servo box. This will help any water to be sokaed up if it gets in. When you put down your 3M waterproof tape around the battery box, makes sure there are no air pockets within the tape.

I bought a Dumas 56" scarab Deep-V, with a Zenoah 230, i just got it running, and i had a question why the boat lists when i jabb the throttle i don't know if its from the torque of the prop or because the guy that I bought it from didn't know much about boating and put the trim tabs very close together and the water pick up is on the left trim tab and that side is raising up. I ordered another set of trim tabs to stabilize it better. So if you have any suggestions please suggest.

Thanks Chris

ok, buy another set and put them about an inch or more up from those. you may be swinging too big of a prop to though.
