I don't know if it was just my local store or if it is all Kay-Bees' but I happened in there yesterday and found a bunch of the 1:64 scale stuff at 3 for $5.00. I picked up a whole set of the BTM cars, a few Road Rats and some of the Von Dutch stuff. I wouldn't have paid the normal $2.99 each for some of these but at 3 for 5, I couldn't say no.

Yes. The KB in Manchester, CT. had many of them at 3 for $5.00, including the new Ford GT-40.

Like you need more cars for custom projects. Your workbench has ten gazillion cars ready for custom projects. JK

Picked up a few more Von Dutch cars today. Oddly, they wouldn't sell me any Road Rats at 3 for $5. Every thing else Jada in 1:64 was 3 for 5 though. Even the BTM cars which seems strange to me.

I finally made it to my KB in the mall. They had all Jada 1/64 on sale here too. I was dissappointed because there was no BTM. I was hoping to finish my 1st series set. Anyways, I did manage to pick up the new yellow GT, the silver 63 Impala, and the 96 Impala w/flames. Hopefully they will be getting new stuff in if they are on sale.

Heh, true enough. But I picked up a few of the '72 Chevy pickups to do some old school monster trucks: USA-1, Carolina Crusher, AM-PM Boss, and Gentle Ben. Between these and the Hot Wheels '79 F-150 and '80 Bronco, I've got alot of '80s vintage trucks planned. Yeah, I know. I'm probably the only customizer who buys Jadas for the bodies and not the wheels.

USA-1 is in progress as we speak. I should have USA-1, the original Pony Express ('67 Mustang), original Bigfoot, Rolling Thunder ('70s Dodge van), No Problem! ('80 Bronco), and a few others done by the end of the month. Pony Express may even get finished tonight.

One of these days I may even have to do a few more non-monster truck customs, too. ;)
