I am running Windows XP pro SP2. When I try booting the computer gives me the following error message, NT NOT DETECTED.
The pc will NOT boot beyond this point.

Sounds like the boot sector of the boot disk is corrupted. Try re-installing windows. Sometimes a virus will corrupt the boot sector. Hope this helps.
