we got an email this morning looking like it was from ar buyer, asking where their shipment was. included was a link that appeared to go to a particular item listing, but in actuality sends the browser elsewhere. luckily my brother's software alerted him to the misdirection before he clicked on the link.
we're all used to the bogus paypal scams, but this one strikes me as particularly insidious.

I got the same e-mail and I just forward it to E-Bay. The e-mail address I used was spoof@ebay.com Ebay said it was a spoof e-mail.
