Hi all. I am new to oval racing and have the chance to buy a couple of older Trinity Switchblde cars. The local track runs a class they call "Super Trucks" where they run spec tires, motor, brushes, brush springs, batteries and spur gear size. Do you think that these older cars will be able to compete in a class like that? Thanks for taking the time to read this any thanks even more for any help

the cars will compete just as good as almost any other car but for bein a new racer i cant reccomend the trinity cars. those ones are old and you wont be able to get much parts for it if any. you would be better off buyin a used L4 and youll be more competative and they arent to expensive. hope that helps you out

I would go with the l4 very easy to set up and easy to find parts for. And that is what you should look for when you buy a car. Can you get parts for it? So i agree with joe on that one.

I agree with Joe and Brandon. But there are a lot of great used cars on here in the oval swap area for sale. The HD shorty PRO 2 and KSG cars that are in there would be great choices as well. As far as parts availability, remember all the front end parts are Associated parts as well as most of the other parts. You may, depending upon the choice you make, purchase a spare front bumper and lower pod plate, these pieces do tend to get broken. These cars are just as easy to set-up as the L4. Just ask for help with set-up information on any of the threads and I'm quite sure you'll receive it.

Have FUN and good luck!
