Hey Guys I am new at this and before I go to one of my local Hobby stores I would like to see some feed back from Members in here.

So. My question is, wich one should I get. Revo or Genesis? And why?


P.S.- It would be great if you guys post all the pros and cons from Revo and Genesis 46.

Ok well there are no real "cons" to the REVO but its full of "pros"!!! its a great handling, jumping, bashing, racing all around truck! Traxxas Had outdone themselves with that one, The only complaint I have heard is that the suspension rods break sometimes on a hard impact( thats the rod that goes form the cam to the lower arm. other than that not much issue, NOW on the other hand, the CEN is Too Big for its own good, Weak parts and too much power equal disaster! the Truck eats transmissions and diffs, and breaks parts quickly due to its heavy weight especially when it hits something at speed. I work at a local hobby shop that sells alot of both vehicles and the CEN is the only one that seems to linger around the repair area at our shop. could be a good truck if the parts were designed stronger. Just an opinion from someone who works with these trucks(and more) on a daily basis. I dont run monster trucks or anything nitro for that matter, I just dont like it(except planes) BUT if I was gonna buy a monster truck I would go with the REVO(for its technical design and all around great handling, or the Tmaxx which is the tried and true Basher with tons of hopups available. And you cant beat traxxas's motor trade in policy either! They have come along way since the 80's when they started! Just look at the REVO and the JATO and compare those to the stuff even 5 years ago from them, :thumbsup:
