There will be another set of screenings on June 23rd, same theaters currently listed on http://www.cantstopthesignal.com plus 5 more.

Tickets will go like lightning, watch the official site and fireflyfans.net for when Joss posts his traditional warning note, and then keep checking those forums for when people spot the tickets on sale (might be a good idea to check anyway). Tickets last time started showing up around 10AM and sold out in a little over an hour each, so windows are very tight.

That's the best advice and warning I can give, it's worth driving hours to see, the film was unbelieveable, and a real gift to the fans, and should be good for the noobs too. If anyone is smart enough to actually get us a kit, there's going to be a great aftermarket mod for it :)

Wierd that New York is excluded.

Well, much as I love all things Joss, I can wait till it hits the multiplex next to work, and I can walk over for a long lunch.

New York and LA get advance screenings all the time(LA has had 3, as early as December). Part of the purpose of this is to get the showings to places with huge fan concentration and places that don't normally get events like this.

Typically we in Philly get screwed on Asian film because they decide that anyone who really wants to see it will drive to NYC or Washington DC to see it. We also miss out on a ton of the repratory re-releases (had to drive to Baltimore to see Lawrence of Arabia in 70mm when we have a gimundo screen equipped for 70mm 20min away)

So forgive me if we get the goods this time :)

Thanks for the heads-up. Any idea on when the tickets might go on sale or where the additional 5 theatres are? I'm more than willing to drive the 2 hours to KC, though...
