The 112C is an EXCELLENT charger. Still one of if not the best AC/DC chargers made previously or today. I have 2 of them with the add on DIS350 discharger and they work great. They will tell you that H27 is the lowest "recommended" software for use with NiMH cells but I have used clear down to the original software versions with no problems. You got a good deal as the best I've gotten one for is $75. I got a 112A off ebay awhile back for $30 shipped. Hooked up to my 112C I can have one charger set for my AA packs and one for my sub Cs without having to worry about forgetting to change the amp setting and blowing up the AAs. :)

In its day it was the second best of its time the Turbo 30 was the first. But todays chargers will outperform them and I wouldn't trust Tekin's service dept if you had to get it fixed.

Re-read my post, I said it's still one of if not the best AC/DC chargers made previously or today. How can it be outperformed? You put a pack on it, hit the start button until you reach the mode you want and it peaks the battery to completion! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of peak cutoff adjustability........yes but from what I see it doesn't need it. I have a Reedy Quasar Pro that I can adjust the cutoff for charging and the Tekin does the same job without having to worry about getting the cutoff or # of cells set right. As for trust in Tekins repair service. They aren't owned by the same guy that used to screw that up. I've sent two chargers in for software upgrades and one in for a minor repair and total turnaround time for each of them has been about 2 weeks each time, including shipping. If you ask me that's pretty good customer service in my book.
