For those of you who saw the previews back to back before Revenge of The Sith - how do you think they compared - as previews?

FF was definitely more in the "fun" category, where BB was more in the "serious" end, but you're also comparing Marvel to DC, a group to a single, and magical super powers to raw human determination. In that sense, they're about as opposite as you can get.

Well Bats (Although My Sons "GOTTA SEE HIM" lol) and FF (Although I GOTTA SEE THEM!) are CERTINLY two DIFFERENT Styles of Superhero Films. Batman seems Dark and I'm sure that's the way they want him (ever since Tim Burton's) BUT the Fantastic Four seems more in the vain (sic) of Spidey or Superman. I've herd others say the FF look crappy but I gotta disagree, MY one beef is that I KNOW from reading that Classic old Book "Bring On The Badguys" The Origins of Some of Marvels most popular Villians were reprinted including Victor VonDoom and iirc Dr. Doom Was NOT with the Four when they got Cosmic Rayed! Hey EVEN that late eighties Version (by Roger Corman) I "Obtained" lol gets that fact right! I'm sure IF the Causual Viewer doesn't know this little Fact it won't take away from the Enjoyment of the Film I'm pretty sure it'll do well (Not as well as the Spidey Films) BUT I think with the Splashy Comic Colors and Chacthers as opposed to Batman Begins with that Dark Film Noir style and imho a really Crappy lookin' Car it MIGHT fall a little short. (and lets face it Bale isn't quite a Household name) NOW How do you think that new "War Of The Worlds" is gonna be? Looks a Bit too much like a VERY Expensive retread of "ID4" but that's just my take on it.

I've got the Corman version and The Thing suit is certainly the most impressive thing about it. Looks like they're going for a more human-looking and less "rocky" Thing in this movie - closer to the way Kirby drew him in the very early issues of the comics. http://www.pigdogproductions.com/jack%20kirby.html - scroll down to third pic with Sub-Mariner.
