i know that b&s engines are tough, but mine wont shut off when key is off. had to rewire, thanks to dog, now starts fine, but wont shut off. really only had to replace two wires, but have a problem somewere. only thing i can think of is black kill wire is broke loose under shrouding. also should the red wire from the switch to the mag have any juice to it when the key is in run, and motor is not running? Mine does not have a kill block mounted on engine with two wires, but rather somehow kills through switch. it is wired as new, but wont shut off. any ideas?

wire to the engine from the starter switch to the engine, then to the mag........ that or just use a screwdriver from the head to the tip of the plug if it has no insulator to kill it, or just pop the wire off. that will kill it as well, this use to kill older ones with nothing but a crude tab hooked to the head to touch the plug.
