Brad vwal 05-23-2005, 09:57 PM I use 2 little squares...they sell the ones with the plastic part you can move. I got 2 and put both movable parts on one. I saw someone else do that once. Works really good, just put one side against one tire and use the other to slide next to your tire to determine your toe. jeepnyy 05-23-2005, 11:27 PM Holeshot Racing Products has an Alignment Board stock # 6600 retail at $ 43.95 It comes with a toe gauge, camber gauge, caster gauge. Fairly easy to use and very accurate. Holeshot is in Canton, Massachusetts. John Card 05-23-2005, 11:53 PM I use 2 little squares...they sell the ones with the plastic part you can move. I've been doing that for years, works great and cheaper than buying some custom tool. BigMike84 05-24-2005, 01:21 PM I use 2 little squares...they sell the ones with the plastic part you can move. You can look down at the rods and see if the are toed in or out at the ends of each rod. Your measurments are made almost 2 1/2 feet away from each other, so you can get the front end pretty darn precise. If you need something to help your visual, I use a piece of checkered shelf paper. It has one inch squares plus you can align the rods to the straight line of the paper. (YOU CAN'T GET MUCH CHEAPER OF A TOOL) Milky 05-24-2005, 08:54 PM I like that square idea. I can find one at work.lol RPM 05-31-2005, 09:24 PM The only problem I see with the square tool is that to get an accurate reading of toe-in or toe-out you need to hold the square tool in the middle of the tire line due to caster/camber settings. Use a string... The only way is to string the front and rear tire and read the inside trailing edge of both tires. :) Peace pepe 05-31-2005, 09:43 PM I just mic front and rear it doesn't get any simpler or accurate.I also have a holeshot tool that I bought probably 10 years ago,it's good to get you in the ballpark then you have to go with the calipers to dial it in for accuracy. jflack 05-31-2005, 11:17 PM http://www.bulitmotorsports.com/ click on :Front end setup machine/Tweek board.....all the info is there! Best frontend tool on the market! A must for oval racing! rctom243 06-04-2005, 01:18 PM The one Jimmy referenced is KILLER. A little pricy but it is the absloute best for toe-in/toe-out & caster. I've tried the squares & the tubing but this thing works the absloute best. Works on 10th, 12th. I think they have them in stock at www.rc4less.com You might check their web site.
