Ha, when I saw the title I was thinking "why doesn't he get an S-maxx..."

I don't know for t-maxxes but I assume you have front and rear drive shafts. Either half-shafts or dogbones of some sort. You could just take out the front on. You would still have all the weight of the front diff though. You could gut that I guess, taking out the gears and whatnot to let it spin completely freely. But why?

I have been racing off road stadium trucks for years and my rc10 gt is a rocket I had a chance to drive a few t-maxxes and an s-maxx the s-maxx is alot easier to contol on a track atleast for me. I am able to rip it through the corners and tail slide it like my stadium truck. I was able to outrun many 4-wd trucks with the s-maxx but for 125.00 ready to go the t-maxx I bought was a great deal so now I have to remove the reverse and make it 2wd so I can drive it. I just can't stand the 4 wheel push pull
guess it's just the way I drive

really i always felt like my maxx was easier to drive since it was 4wd..... i race 2wd electric buggy, 2wd electric truck and tmaxx all offroad and i always felt like my maxx handled the best
