Does anyone collect the 1:64 Scale American Muscle Mustangs? If so, I have a few questions I'm hoping someone could answer...
How many Mustangs did they put out in this line? I am only familiar with the '69 Mach 1. How are the details on these pieces? Close-up photos are appreciated if possible.
Thanks,

In 1/64 I have only seen the 69 Mustang. I have a RC 69 Boss 302 which I would swear is an Ertl but don't have any real proof. I love Ertl diecast. Detail is great and the cars look like they came right off the actual production line.

There were 3 colors of the blistered `69 Mach 1(I still have the two below - Beige is the missing color). They have decent details but the boxed version is more highly detailed.

I never did see any other Mustangs in this line.
Skip let me know if you need any of these at bss302@juno.com. I'm looking to get rid of them at cost.

Thanks for the replies fellas...
Atencio, any leads on where I can get a glimpse of that RC Boss 302? Does the RC have the same detailing as the Ertl cars?
Mark....thanks for the photos. What are the differences between the boxed version and the blister pack versions?. I sent you some mail.
Does anyone know how these compare in scale to the HW 100% Black Box Mustangs?
Thanks again

Looking at my Boss 302 more closely I am not sure if it was originally an Ertl design or not. Detail is good but not quite as good as my Ertl cars. I also have a RC 65 Galaxie that might be from the same series and the stand it is with says" 50 Fastest Muscle Cars". I don't have a stand for the Mustang however so am not positive if it came from the same series. Sizewise it doesnt look much different than a 100% HW Mustang. If I put them next to each other though, the Boss 302 is about 5/16 inch longer estimating. I love the Mustang, refreshing to see a 69 Boss 302 instead of all the 70's I have.

Atencio...
I agree. Its cool to see a 69. That I can sit next to 65, 67, and 70 Mustangs from HW's.
Thanks for the photos bud :)
