As long as your membership is still in effect you can use it. A membership runs for one year so if you got it after June 4th it is still good. You can get single event memberships.

June 4th is race day. Practice "offically" opens around noon on Friday but in most cases if you are there before that the track is open.

Hi there. Missed the Litchfield race would like to hit Jones race, but can't seem to find directions for it. Checked the MARS site and not there. Can anyone help me out? From Angola, IN.

The track is 2 or 3 miles South of Thunder Valley Speedway (for big cars). Here is their address for mapping
Thunder Valley Motorsports
58671 M-40 Hwy, Jones, Michigan 49061

their site map is here http://www.thundervalleymotorsports.com/map.htm

On that map you will see the intersection of M-60 and M-40. The track is 1 mile North of that intersection and is close to the road with a signboard on the shoulder - can't miss it.

It's funny that you missed the Litchfield race - Your local scoring system made it there ! (inside joke. You'll find out.)

Thanks for the info KevDog. I heard about that today. Had to work the weekend of Litchfield and had no way out. Sounds like it was a great time though. Hopefully we'll see you at Jones.

No hobby shop, Jeff todd and Nick T usually bring some stuff. What do you need?
Hobby sports (aka RnL) is about 25 minutes away.

Nothing needed right now. Just in case something odd breaks that I don't have a spare for. That's the way it always seems to go.

We all have some other responsibilities this year so we are doing things a little differently, like staying near home. Homer changed shifts at work, I have a new baby, Tim's busy with other stuff, etc. just taking the year off from MARS.

How many entries were at Jones?

hankster

The results are posted on the MARS web site.

Only 15 heats and they were not all full. Rather slow but we were done rather early, which is good. And it started on time......
