This is a simple poll to see what kind of turnout we will have on our pre-determined classes. Please note we have already received pre-entries from people who do not use hobbytalk, let alone a computer.

If we do this Saturday after qualifiers, make sure you have charged up packs! Right now our race software developer says we can run up to 15 cars at once... we are working on upping that to 20 or even 30. The system is not tested up that high yet, but we will keep you posted. Mike@SteelCity 05-10-2005, 10:21 PM Sorry to repeat myself (as I posted this on the SCH Oval thread as well)... I just wanted to thank Al Stephens and Frank Dempster on a job well done on constructing the new Oval today at Steel City Hobbies. They worked all day on preparation for the Regionals coming up in one week. The new runline is 160' (correct me if I am wrong Al) and we are testing out our new barrier system, which actually has a little give to help with sidewall protection. I will post pictures tomorrow evening. Thanks again! Mike  erock1331 05-10-2005, 10:58 PM pics pics i need pics, LOL Mike@SteelCity 05-13-2005, 11:35 PM The track is awesome from what I hear. Oval racing tomorrow - last race for the Mini-Cooper series... over $5,500 worth of prizes for that series alone. Thanks to everyone who helped out with that including Mini of Pgh, Pgh. NICK Mike@SteelCity 05-22-2005, 11:04 PM As Eric says... here are the results! I just wanted to thank everyone who participated by racing, supporting, or just showing up to hang out! I think everyone had a good time and I thank those who helped out in every aspect. It was a long weekend for SCH as we had 2 R/C events going on at the same time. One was a charity event at a local church where we built a full blown off-road track and the other, the Regionals. All the SCH staff and friends did an excellent job making for a smooth weekend of R/C action. We look forward to future events in the near future... maybe in August?
