Yes, I live in the North Hills area in Pittsburgh, pa and was wondering if there are any near by offroad racing tracks... I've always ran offroad electric trucks (xxxt) but was thinking about going Nitro hehe. Let me know, thanks

HobbyTown USA out in N. Fayette Robinson Twp. also has a track and I've read that Steel City Hobbies down in Bridgeville is suppose to build an off road track also.

Scooby,
Here is a little info that may help: Closest to you - to furthest (?)
HobbyTownUSA, Robinson: Outdoor Off-Road, Racing Saturdays. We do not know details as they may still be trying different things to perfect the track. I do not know if they have a permanent timing system.
Steel City Hobbies, Bridgeville Great Southern Shopping Center: This is a state-of-the-art indoor carpet R/C facility which has the areas only dedicated R/C shop on-site. (Located off if I-79) SCH uses the latest AMBrc digital timing system, which is compatible with personal transponders. If you do not have a PT, they have handout transponders. Racing on Saturdays at Noon with club racing during the week. Track is open every day. SCH also runs out-door on-road racing in various spots (Schedule TBD on website) and also run R/C Drag Racing. SCH also has an off-road track in Carnegie which still needs it's SCH Blessing to be a SCH Track. Whenever this happens (hopefully soon), racing will be on Sundays every other week. This will allow you to travel to different tracks of your choice. You should be able to run anything from electrics to 1/8th scale. www.steelcityhobbies.com for more info.
Braidenville Mushroom Farm (Latrobe PA): They used to have an out-door off-road track, but I do not think it is operational at the moment. They run indoor carpet racing where they will run anything you bring. Racing starts Friday evening and sometimes runs into the wee hours.
McCullough's Off-Road, Sarver PA: McCullough's Off-Road has been open for years. They change the track every now and then to offer challenging racing. Everytime I am at McCullough’s, they have a strong electric following as well as nitro. The nice thing is that if it rains, you will be racing indoors in their new indoor building built for off-road. A complete off-road facility with plenty of room. I believe you will need to bring your own pit table & chair and extension cords. I also believe they run 3 qualifiers and 1 main. SCH is working on a "yellow pages" for local tracks & stores for R/C. Keep posted to the website for updates in the near future.
Have fun!
