Another fun Sunday event! Dave Lareau set the track record for 1/18 scale 4WD mini trucks with a 63 lap run to win the feature over Nick D. and Jim J. Al Smith Jr. started at the back after a late arrival and out ran everyone in 1/10 scale trucks for the win. Bret the Jet pulled himself away from the plasma screen long enough to hold off Jason Nick for the 19 turn win. Next event is July 10.

Hey guys! I am considering moving race #3 of the summer series back a week to the 17th. Several of the guys who have been running the series have said that they couldn't make it on the 10th, so I think attendance will be low on that date. Let me know your thoughts and I will make a final descision on Tuesday. (I'll be away Sunday and Monday.)

As mentioned in the previous post, we have decided to reschedule Summer Series race #3 to Sunday July 17th, due to scheduling conflicts with several of our regular series runners. Too many people couldn't make the July 10 date, and that would make for a very short field that day. Please help spread the word to those who might not see it here. Thanks, Ken.

Summer series race #3 ran on July 17th. 1/18 Mini Trucks was won by Ray Beland, with Nick Dean 2nd and Jeff Johnson 3rd. Nick leads the points by 30 over Jeff with Jim Johnson, who left his mini in the box this week, holding on to 3rd. Jason Nick and Jeremy Losaw battled it out in D.D. Stock with Jason taking the win. Jason is tied with Paul Green for the D.D. stock points lead with Jeremy Losaw moving into 3rd with his second place finish. Nick D. and Jim J. broke out their EDM's and took to the track with Nick holding off Jim by just over a Lap. The points and prizes will come down to the last race in August 14th, with $50 cash plus merchandise prizes to each class winner and merchandise prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. Missed you yesterday Dave L. No sign of the Jet either! Hope to see you all on August 14th.
