what is the coil gap supposed to be on a 18 hp 2 cyl b&s supposed to be

same as they all are, use what i like to use, gets better spark as well, take a dollar bill, put it between the bare side of the flywheel, not where the magnet is. and put the coil up to it, and have just tight enough so the $ bill slides with some effort at pulling it, tighten the bolts, check it again by sliding it, then take the bill out, and spin the flywheel to make sure it doesn't rub.

What would be the biggest difference in setting a coil say .010 and setting one .015 what does it do when you set the coil to a larger gap and does this work the same on all magneto coils and another question where online can i find a coil tester that will test magneto and battery cdi modules and coils off engine at a reasonable price

too large of a gap would give a weaker spark do to high resistance in the field if im wording it right
